LioniX International secures approval to enter into bridge financing to ensure its continuity

LioniX International (Enschede), a vertically integrated (photonic chip) foundry, is specialized in developing applications for its OEM customers with their proprietary TriPleX® platform. The company has been growing since its start in 2001 and has the ambition to become a global leader player in the photonic chip industry.

Due to external circumstances, 2023 showed a negative result for LioniX International, whereby for 2024 the outlook is positive again. LioniX therefore was looking for a short-term financing to bridge this result of last year and ensure its continuity. We are therefore very thrilled to announce that we could secure approval to enter into the financing of 1.5 M Euro via the East Netherlands Development Agency (Oost NL).

With Oost NL we will have a strategic partner providing a loan to bring the continuity to the business of LioniX International that it needs, and secure jobs for the region. This enables LioniX International to further develop and exploit its unique technology for new applications in the market, now and in the future.
